This Canvas course is linked to the module 5EG009/6EG014 Academic English for International Students. The module is designed for non-native English speakers with an English level equivalent to IELTS 6.0 or above, who are relatively new to undergraduate study in the UK. It aims to improve your speaking and writing skills and familiarise you with the resources and specialist vocabulary you need to succeed in British Higher Education.

The module comprises a 3-hour weekly language and academic skills workshop, regular tutorials and online support, and 10 hours per week guided self-study.

In semester 1 2018/9 the module runs on Wednesdays 9-12 in MI035.
